Witney - High Street

A large Methodist church with extensive premises in the centre of Witney.

Wesley visited Witney many times. The current church building was opened in 1850 but the congregation has a longer history which you can find out more about on the history page of the High Street Methodist Church website.

Amongst it’s other activities, the church runs ‘The meeting place’ – a busy coffee shop that offers inexpensive drinks. It is a favourite of people who want to come and have a relaxing catch up with friends and family. It is open daily from 10 am – 12 noon.
