William Bardsley Brash’s life is remembered with two plaques in Wesley Memorial Church
William Bardsley Brash MA BLitt BD
Born 1877. Ordained in 1905
For 7 years the pastor of this church
For twenty one years, first tutor, then principal of Didsbury College
A faithful leader, an eloquent preacher, a wise administrator
He lived “by admiration, hope and love.”
Passing humbly and joyfully to his reward 28th July 1952
This brass plaque on the wall, and the table are both in the prayer corner to the left hand side of the church.
The Lord’s table in this church is also a memorial gift of the friends of the Reverend William Bardsley Brash. It was dedicated to the glory of God on Sunday 4th March 1956.
