Kennington Methodist Church

At Kennington Methodist Church we recently celebrated our Golden Jubilee.

A team of our people regularly visit the housebound, those in hospital or in care homes and it is a way of taking ‘the Church’ to others. We also run a monthly coffee morning when 50 or more villagers meet and chat.

We may be a small congregation but we manage to make a big impact on village life. A lot of our members are involved in various community groups, and committed to Churches Together activities where we have the opportunity to pray and worship together and learn about our own faith and the faith of others.

We are blessed with good musicians and are especially proud that one of our church stewards runs the United Church Choirs whose members put on regular concerts and raise thousands for charity.
