Connect with today's Methodists

Join the Wesley Memorial congregation for worship and fellowship.

As a gathered congregation Sunday morning is the one occasion in the week when most of the members of this city centre based church draw together.

Worship is at the heart of all we do. Our services blend traditional and informal elements are the led by trained lay preachers as well as ordained minsters. We try to make our service accessible, creative and relevant to all and open to those who come with questions as well as faith.

Morning worship is at 10.30 am. Holy Communion is usually shared on the first Sunday of each month. We warmly welcome children of all ages. They are invited to share the first part of Sunday morning with the rest of the Church family, and then usually leave for their own activities, or creche after about 15 minutes.

The choir makes a regular contribution to Sunday morning worship. Our worship band, Rockfish, and our church instrumental group also lead the music in a variety of services.

Refreshments are served after the service in the large hall. This is an opportunity to get to know people better and visitors are warmly invited. Students are particularly welcome.

The ground floor of the church premises is fully accessible to wheel-chair users. There is a loop system for the hard of hearing.
