Banbury Methodist Circuit

Marlborough Road Methodist Church, Banbury, where Jessie was examined and then 'received' as a fully accredited local preacher.

Although opened in 1865 the interior of the church was redesigned in the 1970s to make a light and airy space for worship, drama and concerts.

Jessie Eltham, one of the earliest women to be approved as a local preacher in the Oxfordshire area, was accredited here in 1919.
